If you’re looking for a meal that hits hard with flavor and satisfaction, this combo is next level! The grilled chicken was perfectly charred with just the right amount of spice—juicy inside, crispy outside, and topped with crushed chili flakes that bring the heat without overpowering the taste. Every bite was packed with bold, smoky goodness! And let’s talk about the poutine... Classic comfort food done right. The fries stayed crispy under a generous layer of rich, savory gravy and melty cheese curds. It was the perfect balance to the spicy chicken—creamy, indulgent, and straight-up delicious. Perfect for a work lunch or late-night feast. Flavor, portion, and presentation? All on point. Highly recommend

You know a place is great when people are still lining up 30mins before closing The service was fantastic, the waiter (I believe he is the son of the owner), super helpful and patient. You can tell he really cares :) The food, I personally did not love the chicken. It was a little ‘too dry’ for my liking. The flavour was great though. The ribs and fish, were fantastic! The meat on the ribs can hardly stay on the bone cause it was so tender. The fish was seasoned perfectly. Would love to go back again on my next trip!

Aquinta was a restaurant in the extended neighborhood of our AirBnB and we thought we would try it one night during our stay in Montreal. Wow... I think I'm now in love with Portuguese cuisine! Amazing vibe and great BBQ style cooking... fish of the day is to die for. Reasonable prices and excellent service. We live in NZ... such a long way to come back for seconds (but tempting ).

Service was great, food was delicious and the prices are the best part of it! Not to expensive, well worth every penny; and time! Ambiance is great! Show up early or book in advance, this place is always busy!

This is my go to restaurant to recommend in Montreal. It has everything you want in such an establishment. The service is always impeccable. The servers are accomodating and always helpful. The food is top notch. Portuguese rotisserie at its best. The place is clean and feels cozy. The price is very reasonable for such a high quality of food. I'm not the type to be a regular at a particular restaurant, but if I had to chose one restaurant to be a regular customern I would chose Aquinta without hesitation.
